Supported sources

Atlan supports two integration approaches:

  1. Simple setup with out-of-the-box connectors. In three steps, you can connect your sources with activity logs and automated Slack or Microsoft Teams alerts for monitoring. For more information on supported capabilities of Atlan's current integrations, see Connectors and capabilities.

  2. Extensible through App Framework and Open APIs. Atlan uses an Open API architecture, so every action can be driven by APIs. You can bring in any data product from any source. The App Framework enables developers to create custom solutions, automations, and integrations that extend Atlan's functionality. Using metadata APIs, the Application SDK, and a managed runtime environment, you can build AI assistants, compliance workflows, custom connectors, and applications that operate on your metadata lakehouse. Applications deploy and run directly within Atlan's infrastructure, allowing you to use custom solutions alongside existing capabilities. The framework supports both organization-specific customization and developing reusable solutions for broader distribution.
