LINEAGE view
The LINEAGE view contains information about asset and column-level lineage processes in Atlan.
Overview
The LINEAGE view provides a simplified, curated view of all lineage-related entities. This view includes Atlan-native process entities like Process, BIProcess, and ColumnProcess and external processes like DbtProcess and DbtColumnProcess.

Columns
The LINEAGE view includes the following columns:

DIRECTION | The flow of the lineage traversal: UPSTREAM (sources) or DOWNSTREAM (targets) |
START_GUID | The globally-unique identifier of the asset for which lineage is being calculated |
START_NAME | The name of the starting asset |
START_TYPE | The asset type of the starting asset |
RELATED_GUID | The globally-unique identifier of the asset found during traversal |
RELATED_NAME | The name of the related asset |
RELATED_TYPE | The asset type of the related asset |
CONNECTING_GUID | The intermediate GUID that links the current hop to the previous asset in the chain |
LEVEL | The distance (number of hops) between the starting asset and the related asset |
