Add a resource

Add links to internal or external URLs within asset profiles to provide contextual information and help your team better understand each asset. Whether you're linking to Confluence documentation, data dictionaries, Jira tickets, or other tools, resources connect assets to their broader context. You can also add resources directly from your browser using Atlan's Chrome extension.

To add resources to your assets, follow these steps:

  1. On the Atlan homepage, click Assets in the left menu.
  2. Click on an asset to open the asset profile.
  3. In the navigation bar to the right of the asset profile, click Resources.
  4. Click +Add Resource and paste your URL.
  5. For Title, type a title for your resource.

Your resource is now ready to use! 🎉

Once you've added a resource, click +Add in the Resource menu to add more resources for your asset. You can also edit or delete them to curate your list of resources.
