Feature maturity matrix
This page is the single source of truth for Atlan feature availability. Statuses are grouped by product area and are current as of the latest review date. Preview and roadmap items are subject to change—always confirm timing and availability with your Atlan account team before planning around them. Where availability isn't yet confirmed, it's flagged as such. Never treat a preview or roadmap row as shipped.
Status tiers
- GA: generally available to all tenants.
- Public preview: available on request; feature-complete but still stabilizing.
- Private preview: limited availability behind a feature flag or enablement step.
- Roadmap: planned direction; not yet available to configure.
- Deprecated: being retired; use the listed replacement.

Additional limits to be aware of in this area: Atlan popularity reflects Snowflake query history, not BI view counts · Atlan doesn't enforce dynamic masking at query time · the dbt connector's tag extraction is adapter-specific (Flink/Kafka tags aren't pulled like Snowflake materializations).
