What does Atlan import from Immuta?

Atlan enriches data assets with Immuta access request links based on the connections and data products configured in your Immuta instance.

Enriched metadata​

The Immuta workflow associates Immuta access request links with all Atlan data assets in supported source systems and data products.

For enriched assets, the asset profile displays an Immuta-specific Request Access button. Clicking this button redirects the user to the appropriate Immuta access request page, pre-scoped to the selected asset.

Notes​

  • Atlan enriches assets that correspond to data sources registered as connections in Immuta.
  • The workflow is point-in-time but can be scheduled to run periodically to capture new objects added to Atlan.
  • Atlan doesn't import row-level data or policy definitions from Immuta.
