For supported assets, the Atlan Asset Profile surfaces a dedicated Immuta CTA. When you click this CTA, you are redirected to the appropriate Immuta access request page or form, pre-scoped to the selected asset. The exact Immuta URL and request experience can vary by asset, depending on how access policies, datasets, and request workflows are configured in Immuta (for example, dataset-specific request forms, purpose-based access flows, or policy-driven approval paths).
The Immuta marketplace app running on your Atlan tenant is responsible for:
- Identifying the relevant Immuta context for each Atlan asset
- Mapping the asset to the correct Immuta access request URL
- Ensuring you land directly on the intended request experience in Immuta
This integration removes friction from data access workflows by connecting data discovery in Atlan with policy-enforced access requests in Immuta, improving user experience while maintaining strong governance and auditability.
