Report on account usage

TL;DR

Track Flexi Credit usage in the reporting center. View your available balance, burn rate and runway, daily burn, Flexi Credits used by each user and context agent, recent transactions, and assets enriched in collections.

Your AI can read this via Docs MCPcurl -fsSL "https://docs.atlan.com/install-docs-mcp" | bashConnect

The account usage dashboard in the reporting center shows how your organization uses its pool of Flexi Credits. Use it to track your available balance, see how fast Flexi Credits are being used and when they're projected to run out, find out which users and context agents use them, and review the assets that agents have enriched.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure:

Open account usage dashboard

  1. From the left menu in Atlan, click Reporting.
  2. Click Account usage.
tip

You can also open the dashboard from Context Agents Studio. In the credits card, click View report.

View your Flexi Credit balance

The credits card at the top of the dashboard shows how many Flexi Credits are available to your organization.

  1. Hover over the headline balance to see Flexi Credits allocated, used, expired, and available.

  2. Review the bar and legend to see how used Flexi Credits are split across the Description, Readme, and SQL Intelligence agents and conversational AI.

  3. Review the usage metrics on the card:

    MetricWhat it shows
Runs outThe projected date your available Flexi Credits run out at the current burn rate. Hidden when your available Flexi Credits last more than a year at that rate.
Burn rateThe average Flexi Credits used per day over the last 7 days.
Last 7 daysThe total Flexi Credits used in the last 7 days.
RunwayThe number of days your available Flexi Credits last at the current burn rate. Shows More than a year when runway is longer than 365 days, and a dash when no Flexi Credits were used in the last 7 days.
Next expiryThe date the earliest active Flexi Credits expire.
note

Unused Flexi Credits don't roll over. For more information, see Contract years.

Track daily burn

  1. On the dashboard, go to the Daily burn chart. The chart shows Flexi Credits used each day over the last 30 days.
  2. Look for spikes, such as a large enrichment run, and check whether usage is trending up or down.

View Flexi Credits by user

  1. On the dashboard, go to the Credits by user card.
  2. Review the Flexi Credits each user has used for conversational AI over the last 30 days, and each user's share of total conversational AI usage. The card lists the top 4 users by name and groups all other users into one row.

Credits by user covers conversational AI only. Flexi Credits used for enrichment are counted against the context agent that did the work. To see them, view Flexi Credits by agent.

View Flexi Credits by agent

  1. On the dashboard, go to the Credits by agent card.
  2. Review the Flexi Credits each context agent has used for enrichment, and each agent's share of total enrichment usage:
    • Description agent
    • Readme agent
    • SQL Intelligence agent
  3. Review the summary line below the agents to see what share of Flexi Credits over the last 30 days was triggered by people and what share by agents.

For what each agent charges, see the Flexi Credits rate card.

Review recent transactions

The Recent transactions card lists your Flexi Credit ledger. Each entry shows the date, the action, and the number of Flexi Credits.

  1. On the dashboard, go to the Recent transactions card.

  1. On the dashboard, scroll down to the Assets currently enriched in collections card.
  2. Click Description, Readme, or SQL Intelligence to choose the type of context.
  3. Review the counts for all enriched assets, assets enriched by agents, and assets enriched by people. Description counts include columns.
