Knowledge folders let you build a golden dataset of unstructured documents—standard operating procedures, policies, compliance rules, and other business-critical content—as first-class assets in Atlan. That means they're discoverable, governed, and available to context agents and agent templates, which use this golden set to enrich your assets and to extract relevant glossary terms and business rules. The unstructured content is also available for "talk-to-data" use cases through agent-consumable, purpose-built context repositories.
How it works
Build your golden dataset
Upload and organize SOPs, policies, and business rules into knowledge folders as discoverable, governed catalog assets
Enrich assets with linked documents
Link a knowledge file to the assets it relates to. The Description and README agents read those linked files when they next enrich the asset
Power purpose-built outcomes
Select knowledge files as a source when you create a context agent from an agent template. Today that produces business graph terms with their business rules, linked back to the source file. Other outcomes, such as skills, aren't available yet
