Set up Bigeye

Before you can integrate Bigeye with Atlan, you need to map Atlan connections to the corresponding sources in Bigeye and configure API access. This setup enables Atlan to securely fetch data quality metadata from your Bigeye instance.

Prerequisites​

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • Administrative access to your Bigeye instance
  • The qualified name for each Atlan connection that you want to map to a Bigeye source

Map connections​

Map Atlan connections to Bigeye sources and generate a Personal API key for authentication.

  1. Log in to your Bigeye instance with administrator credentials.

  2. Map Atlan connections to Bigeye sources and generate a Personal API key. For detailed steps on mapping connections and configuring authentication, see Set up Bigeye in the Bigeye documentation.
