Preflight checks for Fivetran

Fivetran has deprecated its Metadata API and released a more comprehensive Platform Connector. Atlan recommends transitioning to the Fivetran Platform Connector in Fivetran for seamless metadata enrichment in Atlan. For any existing Fivetran workflows, you can migrate to the Fivetran Platform Connector in Fivetran first and then modify the crawler configuration in Atlan to update the extraction method.

Before running the Fivetran enrichment, you can run preflight checks to perform the necessary technical validations. The following preflight check will be completed:

Fivetran Platform table existence and access check

This check verifies if a Fivetran table named table_lineage exists in the selected schema, and whether Atlan has been provided with read access to the metadata.

❌ Table named table_lineage does not exist. or Provided credentials do not have read access.
