Built for SAP Business Data Cloud​

The SAP Datasphere connector is built to work with the SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud connectors. Together, these connectors are how Atlan supports SAP Business Data Cloud:

  • SAP S/4HANA: the business applications where operational data originates.
  • SAP BW/4HANA: the enterprise data warehouse that models and consolidates SAP data.
  • SAP Datasphere: the data layer that brings SAP and non-SAP data together into spaces, views, and analytic models.
  • SAP Analytics Cloud: the analytics layer where business users build models and stories.

When you crawl these connectors together, you can trace lineage across your SAP landscape:

  • SAP S/4HANA to SAP Datasphere: Atlan links tables replicated into SAP Datasphere back to their source tables in SAP S/4HANA. For details, see upstream source lineage.
