Install Self-Deployed Runtime on your preferred platform to enable secure connectivity between Atlan and data sources within your infrastructure.

Docker Compose and Kubernetes guides include a connector selector—select your connector and the guide updates with connector-specific deployment values and system requirements. For SDR Orchestrator, the guide covers the one-time orchestrator setup; apps are then installed and managed from the Atlan UI.

Prerequisites​

Before you install Self-Deployed Runtime, turn on Crawl assets using Self-Deployed Runtime in your Atlan tenant. Workflows that use Self-Deployed Runtime fail until this option is turned on.

  1. If you are using the Old UI (Classic), from the left menu, click Admin.
  2. Click Labs.
  3. Under the Workflow center heading of the Labs page, turn on Crawl assets using Self-Deployed Runtime.
