Set up Great Expectations Cloud

Before you can integrate Great Expectations Cloud with Atlan, you need to configure API access in your Great Expectations Cloud instance. This setup enables Atlan to securely fetch data quality metadata using API token authentication.

Prerequisites​

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • Administrative access to your Great Expectations Cloud organization
  • Permissions to create API tokens in Great Expectations Cloud
  • Access to your organization ID and workspace ID

Create API token​

You need to create an API token in Great Expectations Cloud and note your organization and workspace identifiers.

  1. Log in to your Great Expectations Cloud instance with administrator credentials.
  2. Create an API token for Atlan integration. For detailed steps, see Configure the Atlan integration in Great Expectations Cloud. Note down the token, as this token is required to configure Atlan.
