Set up Ataccama
Before you can integrate Ataccama with Atlan, you need to configure API access in your Ataccama ONE instance. This setup enables Atlan to securely fetch data quality metadata using Keycloak authentication.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- Administrative access to your Ataccama ONE instance
- Permissions to create service accounts in Keycloak
- Access to the Keycloak realm configuration for your Ataccama instance
Configure API access
You need to create a Keycloak service account and configure the data sources that Atlan can access.

Log in to your Ataccama ONE instance with administrator credentials.

Create a Keycloak service account for Atlan integration. For detailed steps on creating the service account and configuring authentication, see Configure the Atlan integration in Ataccama ONE.

Note the following credentials for use in Atlan:
- Client ID: The application (client) ID of your Ataccama instance
- Client secret: The secret key for your Ataccama instance
- Keycloak host: The DNS hostname of your Keycloak server
- Keycloak realm: The realm name in Keycloak
- Ataccama URL: The base URL of your Ataccama instance

Define which data sources in Ataccama are available to Atlan.
