Users 👤 inside Atlan can be clubbed together into 👥 groups. These groups are very useful for attaching access policies to a bunch of people quickly.
For example, say there is a specific team that analyzes Instacart data. This team will need access to all the Instacart data, but they should be denied access to all other data. An "Instacart" group can be created, and all analysts can be added to that group.

A modal will open up, where you can enter information about the group like its name, description, etc. The modal will also give a list of existing users you can add to the group.
Click on the name of the group. The group's dedicated page will open.
Click on the "Add members" option on the right-hand side.
Choose the member or members you want to add, and click on "Add Members".
Congratulations! 🎊 Your user groups are now ready to be added to relevant access policies.
