How to create user groups in Atlan

๐Ÿค” Why create groups in Atlan?

Users ๐Ÿ‘ค inside Atlan can be clubbed together into ๐Ÿ‘ฅ groups. These groups are very useful for attaching access policies to a bunch of people quickly.

For example, say there is a specific team that analyzes Instacart data. This team will need access to all the Instacart data, but they should be denied access to all other data. An "Instacart" group can be created, and all analysts can be added to that group.

โœจ Spotlight: Creating groups also comes in handy when a new person joins the team. That person can just be added to a group instead of individually adding that person to multiple access policies.
