Step 1: Setup a custom SAML app on Google Admin Center.
Step 2: Click on the plus icon on the bottom right, then click on
SETUP MY OWN CUSTOM APP.
Step 3: You will see a screen with title
Option 1: Download IdP metadeta. Download that file and save somewhere.
Step 4: Copy the
Atlan SAML Assertion URL and
Atlan Audience URL (SP Entity ID) value from the product and paste them in
ACS URL and
Entity ID fields on
Service Provider Details section.
Step 5: Click Next. Now you will see
Attribute Mapping screen. Add Mapping of both product and Google admin screen as shown in the screenshot.
Step 6: Save the configuration on product(Save configuration button) and Google Admin Center(Finish Button).
Step 7: Assign users to this SAML app on Google Admin Center
Once we are done configuring it via Google we will now have to configure it from the product's end. Follow the steps given below to do so.
