## Report on glossaries

> Track glossaries, categories, and terms in the reporting center dashboard. View high-level metrics, filter by glossary and category, track term-asset linkages, and manage recently created terms and categories.

Monitor and manage your [glossaries](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/governance/glossary/what-is-a-glossary/llms.txt) in the reporting center dashboard. Track categories, terms, and their linked assets, view metrics on recently created items, and manage [term-asset linkages](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/governance/glossary/link-terms-to-assets/llms.txt) to understand the downstream impact of glossary changes.

 You can also view and take action on all your [requests](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/catalog/requests/what-are-requests/llms.txt) for updating terms and categories, right from the glossary dashboard.

## Filter glossaries

You can use the filters in the glossary dashboard to customize your view of glossary metrics.

To filter glossaries:

1. From the left menu in Atlan, click **Reporting** and then click **Business Graph**.
2. Under _Glossary_, for the _All glossaries_ filter, select a glossary - for this example, we'll select the `Concepts` glossary.
3. For the _All Categories_ filter, select a category - for this example, we'll select the `Marketing` category.
4. (Optional) To further [refine your search](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/catalog/discovery/use-the-filters-menu/llms.txt), click **More filters**.

You will now be able to view metrics for your filtered glossary! 🎉

## View terms by linked assets

You can view metrics for [terms with linked assets](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/governance/glossary/link-terms-to-assets/llms.txt) before making any changes to your terms. This can help you understand the downstream impact of your modifications in advance. 

To view linked assets for your terms:

1. From the left menu in Atlan, click **Reporting** and then click **Business Graph**.
2. From the _Glossary_ dashboard, scroll down to _Terms by linked assets_.
3. Click a term to view a list of all the linked assets in the sidebar.
4. (Optional) In the sidebar, next to _Search all assets_, click the export icon to [export linked assets](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/governance/integrations/export-assets/llms.txt) for a term to a spreadsheet.

## Update new terms and categories

You can also get to work on recently created terms and categories from the glossary dashboard - for example, attach a tag to a recently added term.

To update a recently created term:

1. From the left menu in Atlan, click **Reporting** and then click **Business Graph**.
2. From the _Glossary_ dashboard, scroll down to _Recently Created Terms & Categories_.
3. Click any term to view the term details in the sidebar - for this example, we'll select `Economic Census`. 
4. In the term sidebar, navigate to _Tags_ and click the **+** sign to [attach a tag](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/governance/tags/attach-a-tag/llms.txt) to your term - for example, `Public`.
5. Next to your selected tag in the popup, click the downward arrow to configure [tag propagation](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/governance/faq/tags-and-metadata-management/llms.txt).
6. Click **Save** to save your changes.
