## Enable More Details Tab on Asset Profiles

> Show the README and rich text custom metadata side by side as tabs on asset profiles.

Each asset has one [README](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/catalog/discovery/what-are-asset-profiles/llms.txt). The **More details** tab gives assets a dedicated tab on their [profile](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/catalog/discovery/what-are-asset-profiles/llms.txt) that can hold multiple long-form explanations side by side—useful when an asset like a Tableau dashboard needs both a business context summary and a full technical README.

The tab shows:

- The asset's README as the first sub-tab.
- One additional tab for each [rich text custom metadata property](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/governance/custom-metadata/custom-metadata-properties/llms.txt) applied to the asset.
- All other custom metadata in read-only panels, each with an **Edit** button that opens the sidebar.

## Prerequisites

- You are an [admin user](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/governance/access-control/delegate-administration/llms.txt) in Atlan.
- To add rich text tabs alongside the README, you have a [custom metadata structure](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/governance/custom-metadata/manage-custom-metadata-structures/llms.txt) with at least one **Rich text** property, applied to the relevant asset types.

## Enable More Details tab

1. In Atlan, click **Settings** from the left menu. If using classic UI, click **Admin** instead of **Settings**.
2. Click **Labs**.
3. Under **Assets**, turn on **More details tab**.
4. Reload Atlan. Asset profiles now show a **More details** tab.

## Add tabs beside README

To add sub-tabs alongside the README, [create a custom metadata structure](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/governance/custom-metadata/manage-custom-metadata-structures/llms.txt) with one or more properties of type **Rich text**, then apply it to the relevant asset types.

> **Tip**
>
> You can also mark a rich text property as **Show as featured** to surface it in the featured metadata section of the asset summary instead. Use the More details tab when the content is long and reads better alongside the README.

## Disable More details tab

To disable the feature, repeat the steps in this article and turn off **More details tab**.
