The Atlan Bot also recommends glossary terms and column descriptions to be linked to your assets.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ A step-by-step guide to approve or disapprove requests of glossary terms

Accepting and rejecting suggestions by team members and Atlan Bot

STEP 1: Go to the "Access" tab

STEP 2: Under "Access Control", select the "Requests" option

A screen will open, which shows all terms requested by users. It also includes the name of the person who made each request, the data asset each term would be attached to, and any comments.

STEP 3: Reject or approve the request

Click on the "Reject" or "Approve" options to process requests.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: You can filter all the approved and rejected requests using the tags in the left panel. The name of the person who approved or rejected them will also show up.

๐Ÿง™โ€โ™€๏ธ Remember: Unless the request is approved, the requested glossary terms and column descriptions will not be linked to data assets.

Autogenerated glossary suggestions follow the same approval flow. All the recommendations that our dear Atlan Bot makes will have to be first approved by Admins or Stewards.
