#### Does Atlan support lineage for MongoDB Atlas?

Atlan doesn't provide native lineage support for MongoDB Atlas assets at this time. However, you can generate and ingest lineage using a custom package. Once lineage is associated with an asset—whether upstream or downstream—it's displayed in Atlan's lineage view.

#### Is column information cataloged for MongoDB Atlas collections?

Currently, Columns aren't cataloged as first-class assets. However, information about Columns in a Collection is captured as part of a schema (string).
