Configure secure authentication between Atlan and Salesforce to enable metadata crawling and governance of your CRM assets. Atlan supports both [Salesforce Sales Cloud](https://www.salesforce.com/eu/products/sales-cloud/) and [Financial Services Cloud](https://www.salesforce.com/in/financial-services/cloud/) (FSC), with flexible authentication options including OAuth and JWT Bearer flows for production-ready security.

## Prerequisites

Make sure the following prerequisites are met, you have:

- Salesforce administrator access
- Network connectivity between Atlan and your Salesforce instance

- No special hardware needed
