## Crawl Workday Prism Analytics

> Once you have configured the Workday Prism Analytics permissions, you can establish a connection between Atlan and Workday Prism Analytics.

Once you have [set up Workday Prism Analytics](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/connectors/workday-prism-analytics/set-up-workday-prism-analytics/llms.txt), you can establish a connection between Atlan and Workday Prism Analytics.

To crawl metadata from Workday Prism Analytics, review the [order of operations](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/catalog/connector-capabilities/order-workflows/llms.txt) and then complete the following steps.

## Select your source

To select Workday Prism Analytics as your source:

1. In your Atlan workspace, click **Connectors** in the left sidebar.
 * If you are using the **Old UI (Classic)**, click **New Workflow** in the top navigation.

2. Click **Marketplace**.

3. Search for **Workday Prism Analytics** and select it.

4. Click **Install**.

5. Once installation completes, click **Setup Workflow** on the same tile.

## Provide your credentials

To enter your Workday Prism Analytics credentials:

1. For _Extraction method_, select **Direct** to connect straight from Atlan, or **Self Deployed Runtime** if your Workday tenant requires connectivity through a runtime deployed in your own network.

2. For _Client ID_, enter the [client ID](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/connectors/workday-prism-analytics/set-up-workday-prism-analytics/llms.txt) of your registered API client.

3. For _Client Secret_, enter the corresponding client secret.

4. For _Base URL_, enter your [Workday tenant's data center host](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/connectors/workday-prism-analytics/set-up-workday-prism-analytics/llms.txt), for example `wd2-impl-services1.workday.com`.

5. For _Refresh Token_, enter the [refresh token](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/connectors/workday-prism-analytics/set-up-workday-prism-analytics/llms.txt) generated for your Integration System User.

6. For _Tenant_, enter your Workday tenant name.

7. Click the **Test Authentication** button to confirm connectivity to Workday Prism Analytics.

8. Once authentication is successful, navigate to the bottom of the screen and click **Next**.

## Configure your connection

To complete the Workday Prism Analytics connection configuration:

1. Provide a _Connection Name_ that represents your source environment. For example, you might use values like `production`, `development`, `gold`, or `analytics`.

2. (Optional) To change the users who are able to manage this connection, change the users or groups listed under _Connection Admins_.

 :::warning
 If you don't specify any user or group, no one can manage the connection—not even admins.
 :::

3. Navigate to the bottom of the screen and click **Next** to proceed.

## Run your crawler

Workday Prism Analytics doesn't have any crawler-specific metadata filters—the _Metadata_ step only runs preflight checks before the crawl.

1. To check for any [permissions or other configuration issues](https://docs.atlan.com/llms/connectors/workday-prism-analytics/preflight-checks-for-workday-prism-analytics/llms.txt) before running the crawler, click **Check**.

2. You can either:
 - To run the crawler once immediately, at the bottom of the screen, click the **Run** button.
 - To schedule the crawler to run hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly, at the bottom of the screen, click the **Schedule Run** button.

Once the crawler has completed running, you see the Prism tables and columns on Atlan's asset page, along with lineage to any upstream sources Atlan was able to resolve. 🎉
